Wonderful

i liked everything about this hotel, the white color of all the rooms and design were just amazing, the view from the beach front access is just wow especially during the sunset. their restaurant makes variant of food options and they are delicious.

be aware that if you want to visit nearby places to rent a bike or to use the hotel transportation because the regular taxi or app taxis will not come to this area.

Great location for getting away from it all

Beautiful location right on the beach. Hotel very well laid out with lovely interior design. Room spacious with very comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful

The main issue I had was there were no water bottles to refill anywhere and you had to keep going to the bar to ask for refills and it was only available depending how much they had behind the bar and the water in the rooms were very small quantities given we were to use that for making tea/coffee and brushing our teeth and drinking.

The garden pool villa pools had a lot of mosquitos and also the pool was really warm so not enjoyable to use.

Beautifully designed beach villa

1. The entire property 2. Location - on the beach/ private beach 3. Location of the restaurant 4. Beach side sitouts 5. The gorgeous villa - it even had Herman bluetooth speaker 6. The private pool 7. They made amazing vegetarian well as jain food as per our request.

1. The 3 bedroom villa kitchen had stove but didn't have enough cookware, no tableware. 2. Had coffee maker but no coffee beans. Just regular Nescafe sachets.

Beautiful place to relax in South Lombok

Great location right on the beach, beautiful sunsets with beach views from the pool, fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful with everything we needed, very good food at the restaurant.

Not really a knock on the resort, just things to be aware of when travelling to South Lombok: There’s nothing nearby and no Grab etc., so if you want to go exploring, you’ll have to rent a scooter. There are lots of dogs on the beach and one that kept coming back to the pool and restaurant looking for food. There were tons of bugs around the room that came in through the slit underneath the door – we covered the slit with a towel, which helped a lot.

this was our 3rd out of 6 locations in Indonesia where we stayed, the hotel deserves 5 stars, the most beautiful and peaceful place, the service was at a very high level, we were very impressed with the organization and willingness to help, every employee welcomed us with a smile, the restaurant is something phenomenal, not only the dishes but also the people who work there, very approachable and friendly. Wonderful

We stayed at Amber Resort Hotel from the 14th to the 19 th of December. We had a great time there and we enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was fine. The room was kept very clean; it was lovely to have cold and hot drinks in the room. The staff was very helpful and attentive to us. I would like to mention Adi who was exceptional. He would explain all the sites to visit in Lombok and activities to do. We followed his advice and thanks to him, we enjoyed so much being in Lombok. He could well be an organizer for places to visit, he’s amazing and he knows his island very well. A special thanks to him. Ronie was great as well and he helped us in many ways, advising us too. A very warm Thanks to him as well. Ali and Alejandro were helpful to us as well. We had a marvelous stay thanks to everybody working in the hotel. Thanks to everyone.

Relaxing Lombok stay

Great place for a relaxing few days. Attractive beachside location with fine views. Large room with good air con and its own outside area. Staff very helpful and friendly throughout.

At the resort nothing. However it is rather remote, and we had some long and expensive taxi journeys to other places we wanted to visit in Lombok.

Great hotel and staff with more upward potential

Overall a great, young facility with lots of potential: liked the quietness, the kindness of the staff, the design of the facilities, the restaurant menu, generous breakfast, the comfortable chairs, couches and beach mattresses.

Absence of day curtains in my room, no hot water, many mosquitos in the room (but later resolved with a plugin repellent), absence of beach towels vs bath towels, shower head a bit annoying to handle as constantly twisted, body lotion was provided on day 3 only, towels should be dried up and folded every day but it wasn’t the case for me, absence of towel or dry rack in the ventilated bathroom, which makes it difficult to dry things as outside air is quite humid, a bit too isolated maybe which renders any trip slightly more cumbersome, but thanks to a scooter rental just opposite this was easily solved. Spa and massage was overall good but with room for improvement. No paddles or kayaks, unfortunately. Missing weekly on-premise activities, which could be a nice highlight in the day.
